- Be sure your web browser is set to accept Cookies.
- Select "Login" in the top right of screen. Enter your login name and password and "Login". The day's topic agenda appears.
- Review the agenda or select a different topic from the pull-down menu on the right, select "Go to this Topic".
- To view a focus point discussion select "Go to this Discussion". Follow the conversation by selecting "Next" Message".
- To respond to a message, select "Reply to this Message". Give your message a descriptive subject, write a short concise focused response and "Submit".
- To view a different focus point discussion select the "Discussion" tab or "Discussion List" located above the message window.
- Review discussion summaries from links on the dialogue agenda.
- Registration: Registered participants may join the discussion and complete feedback forms. They also receive daily summaries and WebDialogues updates by email. To register you must have a valid email address.
Note: AOL may block dialogue messages as spam. Consider using an alternate email address such as Gmail,
Hotmail or Yahoo!. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
- Login/Password Help: Login (top right of screen) and then click Login/Password Help on the Login Page. You must enter the email address you used when you registered. Your login name and password will be sent to that address. If you need additional help, contact help@webdialogues.net.
- Editing Your Profile: To change your profile, go to "My Profile" (top right of screen). If you don’t see the My Profile link, you must log in. Select "Update Profile", change your profile information, and "Submit".
- Changing your password: To change your password, select "My Profile" in top right of screen. If you don’t see this link, you must log in. Select "Change Password." Type your new password (twice) and "Submit".
To log in to a web dialogue, your web browser must be set to accept Cookies.
- PC: Firefox - Tools/Options/Privacy. Internet Explorer - Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/Advanced - check "Override automatic cookie handling," select "Accept under First-party Cookies," select "Accept under Third-party Cookies," check "Always allow session Cookies."
- Mac OSX: Safari - Preferences/Security/Accept Cookies. Firefox - Preferences/Privacy/Cookies.
- PC: Firefox - View/Text Size/Increase, Decrease (ctrl + and ctrl -). Internet Explorer 7 - View/Text Size.
- Mac OSX: Safari - View/Make Text Bigger, Make Text Smaller (command + and command -). Firefox - View/Text Size/Increase, Decrease (command + and command -).
